New Pigeon Coop/bird facility

Post by topher40 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:18 pm

Here is the new bird barn I rebuilt after fire took my other, smaller, facility back in December.

I should be able to raise 15-20,000 quail a year with this new set up. Along with about 1-200 pigeons. I expect the interior to be set up by fall. It is complete with electricity, plumbing (with a stool and sink), drains in every room, concrete, and PLENTY OF SPACE. There is two grow out rooms, one brooder room, huge storage/feed room with a bathroom. I will also have two flight pens off the other side that isnt picture in this link, two walk out full sized doors to let you out into them! I dont mean to steal other peoples thunder, although I think I have a pretty darn good pigeon loft! Pretty excited to say the least!

Looking good, are you going to cut in windows or ventilation.

Yeah Greg I will be putting in vents on the North and South side for ventilation, nice aluminum ones to open and close. Waiting on more money!
