Is that knapweed in the photo? If it is I sure hope you put on a pair of gloves, ripped it out of the ground and let it dry up die before it goes to seed!

It could very well be for all I know...but alas, if it is ...it is alive and well, cause I didn't pull it. There is quite a bit of it along the roads.

I asked one of our weed guys and he says it is a thistle and probably not a weed species so let them grow. Good dove and finch food.

Mud,

the dog on the top gets down as much as the others...no couch potatoes on my string...
she gets to ride up there because she is like a cat and balances well, the male that is in the pictures comes off the top half a dozen times a day if he is up there.
