New Hobbie For My Dog! WTH!

Post by Onk » Wed Oct 19, 2011 11:20 pm

So a buddy of and I go to my farm tonight and shoot a few clays and to let the dog run after we were done. After we were done with both the clays and the 40 acre exploration by the dog we stood around at the truck shooting the breeze and noticed the dog kept working the field in front of us from side to side, yep the dog found every clay we had missed, that had not broke, and retrieved each one to hand back at the truck. This dog has never seen a clay thrown or shot yet figured it was something belonging to us or that we needed! Dogs never stop surprising me!

I wonder if he'll retrieve those water bound golf balls too?

I thought it was pretty cool Ron! Who knows, he might even retrieve Sunday with his first big bird hunting test! Taking him to a game farm to hunt up about 20 chuckers, can't wait to see the outcome!

I normally use my kids to gather those up. If I could get Kona to get them that would be awesome. If you could just send over the training instructions that would be awesome. After my kids pickup the clays, whoever picks up the most empty shells on the ground gets 5 bucks. They still haven't caught on that they all get 5 bucks.

haha that's funny. My buddy's aunt has this old wirehair that will start barking like crazy whenever she's bringing clean laundry up from the basement and she drops a sock or something but doesn't notice. The dog won't stop until she picks it up. haha It's like she didn't want her to lose her sock or something.
