Astro problem

Post by codym » Thu Dec 08, 2011 8:58 pm

I'm starting to think that I am way to dumb to be using this thing. I was hunting and I accidentally pushed stop all tracking instead of pause tracking. I have started tracking again but I can't get the handheld and the collar to link up. The dog status just shows a question mark. I have turned them both on and off many times, I have had it identify the unit and it makes the collar blink really fast but still no luck. Someone please help me out here! Thanks

Never mind it just connected. I still think I may be a little to slow for this equipment!

I feel ya. Bumped the Astro on my last trip out and turned off the tracker. It took me 10 minutes to figure it out while trying to keep an eye on the dog.

I did that once in the beginning, if i remember correctly you need to go back to a screen where you enter the collars and dogs name/ID. Sorry im not more help than that right now, when i get time this evening i will put my hands on my astro and figure out exactly what i did to fix it.....was frustrating when i did it, and a DuH ! when I fixed it.....
The second kick from a mule is of very little educational value - from Wing and Shot.
