I like the lines. Actually, I used to trial with Hailey Von Fire Thorn, then later Fancy White Trash came along. I have a pup out of a sire that Jim Smith ran in NSTRA. Dogs name is Stoney, and is out of Fancy White Trash. I really like the females in the breeding. Hailey and Fancy were really nice dogs. There are many other good ones from those breedings. Dan Skully had a really nice pointer at the same time he had Hailey. I believe the pointers name was Abby. Harold Adams handles them once in awhile, and Bob West would also be there. How is that for reporting on "back in the day".
Regards.

Did you run a dog called hailey in a trial in Manitba Canada? I was at that trial with Kevin Brown. Now thats taking it back a few years too.

Several of my friends made the trials in Canada, but I did not. Did Mr. Brown run a large solid brown GSP?

Just for discussions sake. If Kevin Brown was from the MPLS area and ran in NSTRA trials I did compete with him. Jack Baker and myself conducted the first judging seminars at the horse and hunt club in MPLS, and helped get the Mid North region started. My family and I had a blast with all the dog people in the Midwest. We live in Tn. now and I am back to fooling with bird dogs after work kept me away for 10 years.

Yes he did run in the midnorth region and lives in Manitoba. I had a great time at the trial up here and would like to go to North dakota in spring to see one again.I will have to wait tell the pup gets a little older to compete. What dogs do you have or run?

I have a 16 month old great grand daughter of Fancy White trash. I haven't run her in any trials but took her to South Dakota twice pheasant hunting this year. Do some quail hunting here in Tennessee with her as well. She is ready for walking trials of any kind, I just haven't ran her. Thinking about running her in an AKC walking trial New Years Weekend.
