Come to Pheasant Fest next weekend and you'll meet a lot of folks with good dogs there. Odyssey dogs are turning out to be nice. Visit with Jon and Cindy at Perfection Kennel's booth while you're there - they can point you in the right direction.

Kansas...wow, lot's of options that way...LOOK everywhere, depending on what you want. There are lot's of options. One guy out there I sold a pup to always seems to have litters on the ground. here's his site: http://www.mjsdoghaven.netkennel.com/
I sold him his female "Jessie", she's a 2x National Upland Classic Ch. I hear she's going for her 3rd.

The Verdoorns are great people. Truly dog people and dedicated to their dogs and field trialing.

I don't know about the younger dogs, but I know Gauge and Biscuit were hunted extensively even in their earlier trial careers. I think you'd be able to do whatever you liked with a pup from the Verdoorns because they simply know what their dogs can do and get them to do it well. Besides, you have to like someone that names a dog Bad News Biscuit.

Great! What's the pedigree? Did you get to meet Biscuit? He's a cool dog.

If you are still interested in a GSP pup, I will have a litter on the ground around the first week of April. Stud is DC/AFC Kurzhaars V Riverwood's "Rip" out of Odyssey Kennels and my female, Sternjagers Call to the Hunt "Callie". I run in NAVHDA and these dogs will be good for the foot hunter.

As long as you want a dog with tons of desire, wheels, stamina, style, and sense then you made a great decision. I've judged their dogs a few times and was very impressed.
