Looking for young homers in MN

Post by DogNewbie » Fri Feb 10, 2012 9:30 am

Can anyone help me out with this? I'm looking for 8-12 yb to get the new coop started. Looked into some birds for sale at the local racing club and they were older birds and $10 - $40 a pop. Seemed steep to me. Is it unrealistic for me to be looking to pay less than that for yb? Thanks for the help,

Tim

You might want to check out craigslist. I've bought them on there for between $5 and $10 bucks. You might also check out local sale barns I've seen them at those auctions before.

I'm east of Zimmerman....I've a coop full of birds...probably could spare some squeakers this spring. A couple of crazy birds have hatched a few already.
