I have one from that breeding and she is the best dog I have had in 35 years of bird dog insanity...she was a natural in every way possible. Runs big, doesn't get lost, finds lots and lots of birds. Here is an old pic of her from when she was a pup

Image

She is the one on my right
Image

and from grouse season a few years ago

Image

I bred her to a real nice fibber McGee dog and had 11 pups. :o
That breeding turned out really well I think. Only one went to a horseback trialer who runs mostly AKC. Here is her record, she has placed in every trial she was ran in as a puppy.

http://www.remekvizslas.net/dog.php4?id=56644

I kept my kids favorites(they wouldn't let me sell them LOL) but all the rest seem to be very very nice...Full of point and run. I have to say they run more than I thought they would, but they are bird dogs for sure.

Here is a pic of one I still have

I ran two in the Pacific coast Louie tippet puppy classic last year with NO prep, had never even seen a horse before, and they did really well, I asked one of the judges what he thought and he said they were definately nice pups especially given how young they were. Said they showed all age potential for whatever that is worth LOL :)

Lancelot is known for throwing nice moving classy pups with lots of natural ability. Real natural bird dogs, pointing and backing. Mat Huston has one of those pups too and I think he likes him.

I believe that CH Mississippi Dan is a half brother/sister breeding with both parents being directly off Lancelot.

Mississippi Dan, he has won a championship, a runner up championship and been called back at a championship recently. I looked him up and he is a pretty young dog too.

I mostly hunt his wheels off but I do trial him occasionaly. As far as how do I like him...He is the best birddog that I have owned. I'm counting on him to throw me something better than he is though. He makes me happy.

Yeah, that's him in my avatar. I sure wish he had a 12:00 tail. He has had one litter and they all are making good birddogs and NSTRA dogs but they are still very young ( 16 months).

Thanks. He's not the classiest moving dog either but he is long gaited. He has to be bred to classy, stylish females to make up for his short cummings.
