Actually, I haven't deleted any posts. I have tossed someone that got personal. I think it's 50-50% that there'll be more of that before people figure out that I'm serious about this.

Following normal professional conduct, we do not discuss contentious politics nor religion.

If you want to start a pissing match on politics, do it somewhere else.

Under "Thread Closing" that was locked. The original post on this current thread was deleted (probably by the OP), but it was regarding the term "stupidity" and being talked down too. Excuse me if I'm paraphrasing, since it's gone.

Don't have time for a play by play. Here is a summary:

1. Don't post about religion or contentious politics here on GDF. I'm very, very serious.
2. Grant and I set up "Legislation and Hunting Rights" specifically for legislation about hunting and associated dog stuff. It is NOT about general politics.
3. If one of the moderators locks a thread, do NOT open a thread on the same topic or to complain about the closing. You can PM me.
4. If someone else does, do NOT post in it. Rather, avoid it like the plague.
5. If I post a general harsh statement, do NOT assume it's about you. It's probably not.
6. If you get heated up, feel free to PM me to talk it out. Avoiding getting personal that your days on GDF may be long and fruitful.

I thought "benching" involved a period of time off. Not a deleting of ones account.

He was not talking about the post by the OP. It was a post deleted in a different thread probably by a different moderator.

The OP didn't delete the first post in this thread. It was deleted when I tossed them.

Yes, that's exactly my definition of "benching". And I was talking about "benching" for posting about religion or politics. If someone gets tossed, that's not what they got tossed for.
