Braques Francais breeders?

I am 12-16 months from a possible purchase of a 2nd gun dog. I have a 9 month Vizsla that has been an absolute blessing to our household, exactly the dog I wanted in every way so far. In the field He is a fine hunter, points with style and works close. I am a foot hunter, local pheasent preserves with cast and blast trips to eastern Oregon for chucker. My dogs will always live in the house with family, 2 girls 4 and 6. I want to add a 2nd dog that will complement my Vizsla in the field and home. I have researched and found that the French pointer of Pyrenees lines may just be the dog for me. Opinions from owners welcome and any info on breeders in the west coast welcome. I can and will travel for a dog purchase, I did with with my Vizsla. So a breeder in another region of the US is a possibility.

I would look on Facebook for a BF owners group and see where other US owners have gotten dogs. If there is an owners group on FB, you will be able to contact people from all over the world.

NAVHDA might also be a good resource.

I know a Braque Francais from a kennel named Chambois located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Had a few chances to do some training with them, and she was a nice little spitfyre of a dog who obtained a Prize 1 in her NA test in our area.

Importing a pup from Canada is easier than you would think. Plus you get a trip to Quebec out of the deal. Pups got to fly home with someone. :D

(French) Food for thought,
