Tri Tronic G3 Pro 100 trouble

Post by bhairhoger » Fri Apr 06, 2012 10:27 am

I charged my new G3 Pro 100 transmitter for the first time last night and now my transmitter doesn't work. When I put it in the cradle last night the red light came on and I thought it was charging. When I got up this morning I noticed that the red list was still on. I took it off the cradle and the red light was still on. I tried to use the collar and it was like the transmitter wasn't synced to the receiver or the transmitter was totally dead.

I tried to call tech support but they are off for the holiday. Anyone have any ideas to what is going on? Like I said this is the first time I charged the transmitter so maybe I missed something in the book?

Had the same thing happen to me. I took the bottom plate off that holds the battery, took the battery out, then put it back in. Put it back on the charger and it worked fine after that.

+1, although its a shame to have to break that seal on the battery compartment.......

True, but as long as you don't tear that gasket/seal it should be ok.

You probably should read your warranty before you break that seal.

They tell you how to replace the battery in the manual. You should be fine doing it yourself.

If you call they will tell you to take the battery out...

BTW- my gasket was almost like melted in there, was impossible to not tear it.....
