Hi everyone,
Lindsay and I found Carl in a pet store about 6 months ago. We felt bad for him because he was 5 months old in a kennel. We bought him with the intentions of training him and selling him.
Tonight, we found Carl a good home. He will be living in Atlanta, GA with some friends of my mom.
The new owners were REAL excited, but Lindsay and I were sad.

It's hard to do something like that without getting attached.
At least you know he's gone to a good home and it's not too far away. Have you thought about asking the new owners (if you're comfortable with them) to plan a time to go hunting together once a season? That might calm some of the "missing buddy syndrome."
