Beagles? How many out there...

Post by JoshHaker » Mon Jun 18, 2012 5:35 pm

How many have a pack of them in addition to bird dogs? Are the bloodlines as defined as they seem to be with the bird dogs? Are there field trials for them? Let's see some pics!

Lots of field trials here in ON for beagles - packs and pairs. CKC
I often go yo the Elgin County Beagle Club to enjoy the day and the dogs.
My Dad and I bred beagles for many years. They have a soft spot in my heart. :)

Never owned any myself, but my neighbor growing up always had a pair, now his son (my friend/hunting buddy growing up) has a pair and takes his kids out rabbit hunting with them. Always loved those dogs, really fun to watch some good beagles work.

Never owned any either, but get invited on a couple of rabbit hunts every year. Lots of fun. Several folks around me use them for deer also. If I had to pick another sport besides bird hunting it would Probally be rabbits with beagles!
