Been running Maya the last week without any birds. My friend Tony doing the cord work while I take the video of Maya showing her style @ 5 months.

No,she's not e-collar conditioned. I'll start that work and shooting in about a month . At what age do you start e-collar conditioning and shooting. I have been using the PS/PF videos. Thanks

Let her start wearing it now while she is having fun. Then in a month when you start with it she associates it with good times. I let them start lugging it around as soon as they are big enought, that doesnt mean that you have to use it.

I have generally waited to start the e-collar conditioning after they hunt one season. But there are others that start earlier.
When you are to the point were you are thinking about dropping the CC, you will need to do the Collar Conditioning so you have a way to stop the chase.
But there is not magic time or any real rush to do it.

Your dog is off to a fine start. Keep taking your time, training is not a race when you are training your own dog.

I finally bred her, hoping it takes. If you can't tell I'm extremely excited.
