Treating pigeon coop for bugs and parasites.

Post by Stoneface » Fri Jul 06, 2012 5:00 pm

I don't know if it's the new location or what, but I've never had so many bugs in my coop before. Sure, everyone gets them, but this is crazy. I've never had to worry about treating it befoe, but I need to now. I have those little black bugs, bigger black beatles, the biggest fricken horse flies I've ever seen in my life, spiders and horets. Anybody have any insite?

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I dust mine with pymethrin dust whenever I clean the coop

I used food grade diatomaceous earth , google it. I feed it to them, throw it on them and all around area were poop is. I use it on quail but should be good for you too.
