Looks like a fine young dog . Suggestion: Only say "whoa' once, the dog is mesmerized and doesn't hear you anyways. :)

What's the clicking noise you're making for? Looks like you've got a nice dog coming along. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like the dog is more steady than the handler, don't over handle in training wait for her to make a mistake before you command. (Imo)

Great looking dog ! Were you get her from ?

Dognewbie, What's the clicking noise you're making for? I use that noise when im going into flush the bird. I've always done that Im not sure why.

Francois P vd walt, Were you get her from ? I got her from buckheart kennels out of canton Illinois from a guy by the name of jeff olson. He goes by PkerStr8Tail on the forum. Yes im sure she more steady than her handler this is the first bird dog I've trained. I know I got a long ways to go in my training and handling. But im happy with the way she is turning out for having me as her trainer lol. She makes me look like I know what im doing for the most part.

Hope you all enjoyed looking at the video and pictures and thanks for the kind words bout her thanks again

That's interesting. I've seen another video of a guy that would make a flushing noise as he approached the bird. I assumed it was because he had trained the dog to whoa at the sound of the flush or something. I was wondering if you maybe used clicker training with your whoa training. Thanks for sharing,

Tim
