Dog beds and kennel bedding

What do you guys recommend that works best for an outdoor / indoor kennel. The stuffed dog beds are comfortable but get chewed up real fast. What is the best alternative to a stuffed bed??

Outside, mine get mixed straw and shavings in their barrels.

Best thing I have found for outside kennel bedding is reed canary grass hay especially if I can get some second cutting. It has long, soft, flexible leaves that do not turn to dust like straw or most hays. I mix in some cedar shavings to kill off any crawly things and because it makes the dogs smell nice.

i like soft beach type towels as they are very easy to wash.
i have 6 and change them daily.

Could be a dumb question, but these do not seem like they would be warm for the dog if in a doghouse outside for very long, wouldnt these just be better for inside dogs?

It would be awkward to put one in a dog house. I would probably use straw in a dog house. I was thinking of a kennel operation where the runs are attached to a building and the dogs go inside.

For outside in the dog house hay can't be beaten, for inside (and outside on the deck in the spring/summer/fall) Karunda beds are very good.
