Hope he finds her, makes my stomach drop, we just went through this a few weeks ago.

All the info/suggestions that were made in this post viewtopic.php?f=69&t=37460 were very helpful in the recovery of my fathers dog. Spread the word fast..... Facebook, Craigslist, handout and hang flyers, call radio stations, pounds, police, etc.....

The most important thing is to stay positive.

He was hunting off of Mile Road and HWY 153. Her name is Abby. She is a 3 year-old German Wire Hair.

I live in Wausau and will drive down tomorrow and take my dog for a walk up and down mile road to see if I can help locate him.

It's not how many breaths you have taken but how many times it has been taken away!

Has anyone noticed common sense isn't very common anymore.

I hear ya....I went through it several times as a kid....Hit by a car, getting into poison, getting sick and dying or just disappearing and you are right, it ripped my heart out every time. I do believe though, that it helped prepare me for losses later on in life.
