Celebrities that hunt birds ... who are they? I won't fib, there may be one on a prize trip next year so I want to get the biggest names in the business. Anybody have suggestions? Athletes, NASCAR, music, politics. Thanks.

Not sure if he bird hunts but Jarred Allen of the MN Vikings is way into big game hunting. I think he's done some tv shows as well. I know there's a video of him killing a deer or elk with a spear on youtube. It's pretty crazy. He'd be a character to hunt with.

There is a guy from thr eagles who hunts about anything I think. He even has his own tv show and what not, it's pretty awesome!!

Chris E. Kroll, he is a notorious bulls*tter and has won many a chugging copmpetiton. He also was the first to discover global warming and develop the internet (Sorry Al). He is also known for his work as a humanitarian/philanthropist and Porn star. These achievements, among endeavors should include him in humanities upper echelon.

First thought would be Brad Johnson...actor.
My guess is he would make it a hunt, many other celebs would make it a photo op.

2nd thought would be a second nod for Ward Burton.

Might want to avoid Bobby Knight...can you jug choke a folding chair?
He makes it easy to turn to another channel.

I'll second Jim Thome. A first ballot hall of famer that's commonly referred to as Gentleman Jim. One of the nicest, most down-to-earth famous people you'll ever encounter. I've seen him on a handful of hunting shows and he's a class act. Always professional, respects the people and animals involved in our sport and I would imagine he'd be a pleasure to work with.

clay matthews fishes, not sure if he hunts. every month in the back of outdoor life magazine they have a mini interview with a celebrity hunter. lots of baseball players, hockey players, and guys in nascar.

During the Vikings bye week last year Chad Greenway, John Sullivan (Center), Christian Ponder, and Cuellin Loeffler (longsnapper) all hunted pheasants in Central South Dakota.

Last year you could win a package at a local casino to hunt with Bob Knight, I saw pictures in the paper of the hunt. He looked very unenthused and was just holding the gun down low by his side in every picture, never looked ready to shoot or like he wanted to be there.

I have an uncle which guided Knight on a trip, took his gun and literally left him standing in the field. I don't think I would recommend him.

As much as I dislike Knight anywhere, anytime....still better than the classless, self-promoter Nugent.

Please, consider a hunter who is a celebrity and not a celebrity that hunts....they are different and the real thing does exist.

I'm guessing low 300's. I think the size of that bull has more to do with a good camera man and her sitting far back with an extended ARM... Not bad for hunting out of a tree stand on private property for an elk. Kind of takes away from elk hunting if you ask me.

Has anyone thought of this,How about a birddog celebrity handler and athlete? Robin Gates and one of his charges,or Rich Robertson and one of his,George Tracy and one of his ? My guess is a call to Robertsons would get you a show on the ranch seeings as how they hunt it.
