Whats a E-collar? i know its a electronic collar but is that all it is or does a electronic collar need something to be qualified as a "E-Collar"?

An e-collar would most usually be described as having an electrical correction (as opposed to sound or spray) and be activated manually, unlike anti-bark and containment collars which are automatically triggered by some action of the dog. An e-collar does not need a beeper or GPS.

An E-Collar comes before an F-Collar and after a D-Collar.

E-collar is the politically correct term for shock collar. God forbid we should call anything what it is!

Thanks I did a google search but i got different answers such as a anti bark collar, a containment collar and somehow i ended up on yahoo answers where someone said a E-collar was one of those cone collars to stop a dog from biting itself.

thanks for clearing this up for me.

The "E" in the cone of shame collar stands for Elizabethan, from the resemblance to ruff collara worn during the time of Elizabeth I.
