So I was cruising a classified section looking at puppies for sale and came across a listing for Long Hair Weimaraners. First I had heard of a LHW, anyone own one?

I don't own one, but I have a couple friends that do, and my male Lincoln's Grandsire was a Long Hair Weim imported from Germany.
You don't see them as much because it is a disqualifying fault in the WCA's conformation standards (though it is acceptable in FCI).
There is another somewhat rare coat type in a Weim called Stockhaar as well.

I really like the look of the long haired dogs, even more than the short haired dogs. I didn’t know the Stockhaar coat existed, thanks Lincoln.
