My setter pup is now 8 months old and he is really turning into a great pup. He has gotten a lot of good exposure this season and it is really paying off. We headed down to Oregon to chase some chukar, huns and quail over Thanksgiving, had a blast.
Thanks go out to my older dog for showing him the ropes and being patient when he steals her points (backing work is on the schedule for the off season). This was the first trip where he found more birds than his older sister. If this is the start, I'm excited to see what this pup will turn into.

Nice pics! That sure looks like a nice pup I think I recognize that area too. Were you picking solidified clay out from between your setter's toes?
