This is Chief's Trouble Double (Deuce). These picks are from that weekend I picked him up. He is almost six months now. He is my first pointing dog. I will post some more modern pics next week.

ccavacini,

I got Deuce from Dave Jones of Chief's Brittanys. He is line bred on Ban- Dee mainly through DC Count Geoffrey. I was supremely impressed with how well socialized his pups are. Deuce is not old enough to comment on his hunting ability, but I think he is going to be a good one. He is fearless. In light cover he will range 200+ plus yards easily, and I have not let him truly stretch it out yet. He points pigeons in the park. Hopefully I will be able to get him on some birds this year.

Trapper,

I love those pics. Come one come all with the puppy pics.

EWSIV, I am going to try and pick some quail this weekend, I was going to get a dozen. If you want me to try and get some more let me know.

They are not flight conditioned, they are just penned raised, but should do the trick.

EW, this is my boy out of the Count lines, he is a grandson. I actually bought his mom while the Count was still alive.

MacGyver has since passed but he will never be forgotten.

Image

I also have a pup out of Chief's lines but he is a grandson of Buddy's
Gunner is shaping up to be an amazing dog coming up on his 3rd quail season.

Deuce is a Buddy grandson also. His dam is buddy out of a microdot bitch. Which of chief's dogs is gunner' sire/dam?

Gunners is out of Eldon Wingos bitch Bird Patch Scruffy and Dave's Dog Chief's Nubbin' Ridge Runner (Buddy son).

Gunner is a really evenly roaned dog and has all the potential of his lines. I am anxious to get him out this year and see how he has matured.
