Crate Size for my 1 year old GSP

Post by dreamrr » Wed Dec 05, 2012 7:17 pm

I recently got a 1 Year old GSP. I have other dogs and I have a crate just laying around. It's 33"longX18"wideX25"Tall. The dog seems to love to be in it. I see a lot of people use a 36" crate though.

Do you think I should get a bigger one, or is 33" sufficient?

smaller is better. i like intermediate size for my 22 inch high small munsterlander and i think its little big, i could have got away with medium.

name is PETCO.

I have alway used a Vari Kennel 500 that is 40 inch long measured on the outside. Plenty of room for an adult LAB, GSP, or any other large hunting breed.
