Wow Cabelas Service

Post by Ruffshooter » Wed Jan 02, 2013 9:57 am

Now talk about honest and just plain integrity.

On the Friday before Christmas, I still had not done any Christmas shopping. So on my way home from MA with a load of materials, I stopped at Cabelas in Scarborough, ME

I got a cart loaded it with stuff, stopped at the jewelry counter, got help with a bracelet that cost around $600 on sale for $299.91. Lady Customer helped me with size etc. Got it.

Went to pay my bill, still thinking of what I had to do with work, still needing more gifts etc. Not having my glasses with me. Completely distracted. Bill came to $872.00+-. I thought, Geesh did not think i got that much stuff, Those other things must have been pretty expensive. Glanced at the receipt and then got a call and was on the phone and real busy till Today, and just forgot about it other than a passing thought.

Just got Call from Cabelas Service. They checked the transaciton list for the day and found that They double charged me.
They will be crediting me back the over charge.

Now that is just great service and integrity.
Thanks,
Cabelas.

Thats great! I think Cabelas is tops in customer service as well. I've never had any problems with them.

I'm a pretty big fan too. I also use their credit card and saving the points for my first e-collar. I think their customer service is top notch, only behind LL Bean in my experience.

Big fan here too, and congrats to you. Most places would not be that considerate and would have accepted the extra $ in the till.

Great on service but just higher priced than I like.

They are a bit over priced but being as impatient as I am it works for me. Not to mention I do as little shopping on line as possible.

I will not go to LLBeans or purchase anything there. Really do not like the place.

I recall being in the old LL Beans store 50 years or more ago, the one where the wood floors creaked.
Great place.
Still is...their light upland pants can't be beat as well as several other items being top shelf.
I even have a couple of their pipes that once graced the catalogs.
Granted, not everything there now trips the trigger, what with all the geejaws and modern tweaks, but still a place to rate 1-A.
