Missing Vizsla- Oklahoma -FOUND

Post by 1vizsla » Tue Jan 08, 2013 6:42 pm

My friends Vizsla went missing in Edmond OK east of I35- and Waterloo rd. Last seen Monday near Douglas and Simmons Rd. She is a 45lb red female Vizsla that answers to Flirt and is not wearing a collar. I believe she is microchipped. Please contact Linda Durham if you have seen her or can catch her. 1-405-823-0671.

Thanks

Carla

Is this on Facebook?

I have made calls to people in the area and also to some who know Linda and are active in the V world. I know she is Chipped but why no collar, was she at a show?

Don't know about the collar but the last sighting was today. She was with a Weim about 4 miles from the house. A lady tried to get her but she ran back into the woods. Hopefully she will come back soon.

I know our Kindle gave us a scare the other day....Just out of heat cycle and a little brown dog comes over and they both go running off down the road (only time she did not have an e collar on). Luckily she stopped at the road but scared the living daylights out of me. Blowing off her recall which is not like her...long story short the boys next door caught her and we are very thankful. It easily could have ended different. I need to find a two dog e-collar now.

I would get food, water and something she is familiar with like a kennel blanket out to that location. Just from past experience these sightings are usually false but I would do whatever it takes to come tonthat conclusion.'

I have one of Konnors sons so I know how Linda feels about her V's.

Maybe they should call up to Delmar's and see if any of his roping buddies could get after her on a horse.

Don't know anything new but my FB is not working right tonight. I'll check again later. Linda does thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.

I will call Linda tomorrow and see what the latest news is. Maybe I can spend a day or two looking while on my way to Texas.

I got a text last night telling me that Flirt is home. She was found wandering around the dog food isle of a Walmart. They don't call them the "versatile Vizsla" for nothing. That's a smart dog right there and I'm still waiting on conformation but if this is true, I am so happy for George and Linda. :D

These situations rarely turn out good but when they do it's so nice. Welcome home Flirt! :D
