Inspiration

Post by Brazosvalleyvizslas » Fri Jan 18, 2013 11:11 pm

I just thought that I would share with the community a story about a dogs resiliency and their ability to over come major set backs such as major injuries. There is a Vizsla named Bart who had to have a front leg amputated due to illness at a pretty young age.4 months after finishing the operation and Chimotherapy he finised his senior hunt title. 6 months after that he got his Master Hunt title. This was back around 2009 so I started wondering what had he been doing since. I knew he had some FT placements and was training for his Utility Test so I looked him up on the FT database and he has 23 Field Trial placements. It takes alot of heart and determination for a 3 legged dog to compete in these venues and it speaks volumes of the owner for giving it the chance to do what it loves to do. If anyone knows Team Barty, invite them on here to keep u's updated.

Brenda might know them. I think they're from down her way.

Brenda has put pictures of him on here back when she was running with him at hunt test. A very nice dog.
