I just thought that I would share with the community a story about a dogs resiliency and their ability to over come major set backs such as major injuries. There is a Vizsla named Bart who had to have a front leg amputated due to illness at a pretty young age.4 months after finishing the operation and Chimotherapy he finised his senior hunt title. 6 months after that he got his Master Hunt title. This was back around 2009 so I started wondering what had he been doing since. I knew he had some FT placements and was training for his Utility Test so I looked him up on the FT database and he has 23 Field Trial placements. It takes alot of heart and determination for a 3 legged dog to compete in these venues and it speaks volumes of the owner for giving it the chance to do what it loves to do.
