Planted three quail for my pup yesterday. She found all three and he intensity got better with each bird. She seems to have a good nose. The photo is of her first bird, which was not as stylish as the next two. Sure is fun to watch pups develop.

Nice pup but a really ugly helper there!! She looks good - hope to see her at the fun trial and the youth bird hunt next year.

I know what you mean about my helper roosters mom !! He's a pretty good dog man though. I'd say you will Blaise at the fun trial for sure!!! She just needs a lot of work !! I'm pretty much letting her be a pup right now
