Tornadoes in Georgia

Post by ezzy333 » Wed Jan 30, 2013 11:43 pm

I see that at least on of the tornadoes went across NW Georgia which has to be near Walnut Hill and I don't know about the rest of you down there but sure hope everyone is OK. Will be anxious to hear from all of you.

I live in NGa. probably about 5 miles away from Rick and Brenda in Lafayette, we got a lot of rain in our area and some high winds but no damage to speak of. I think a tornado touched down about 30 miles south of us yesterday in Calhoun Ga. but I dont know the extent of the damage yet. The last two years have been bad for us around here! Jon

I'm 2.5 hours se of them. Had 6 inches rain in a few hours and 60+ mph winds with lots of down trees. Only good thing is that lake came up 2+ feet

That was one amazing front. I live a few hours north and we got pummeled by rain/snow. Knocked me off my grouse land for now
