Hi there!

I was hoping that you guys might be able to help out with identifying the mix of breeds in our new Rescue pup.
He was originally owned by a lady in town, but after he broke into her room mate's guinea pig cage and discovered the joy of small fluffy things. We live out in the country and love to hunt so we were keen to take on a dog with a little bit of a prey drive.

He's a 5 month old black pup, with a white splash on his chest and paws. He was very skinny when we got him and quite wary (He'd been neglected a bit with his first owner).
He's very leggy, and with quite large paws so he's got a little growing to go yet. Since we've had him he's become a lot more confident and put on a bit of condition.

He's a very very easy going dog. He doesn't try to escape, he doesn't dig destructively, he sleeps A LOT! A really really cuddly dog too. Very affectionate.

Here are a couple of photos. He's got quite a pointer-ish head and whip-like tail. He's taller than what a lab would be if that was the cross, but I'm not ruling anything out.

His name is Sirus :)

Yeah I think lab mix. Could be lab and gsp possibly. Who knows... but whatever he is he is glad to be out of the apt. I'd bet.

Pit's are illegal in my country, I think it would be a pretty long shot to say that.

Could have the big potential to be a lab. He's got that kinda lovely face on him. Here are a couple more snaps.
