Let's post some videos?

Post by Stoneface » Wed Feb 20, 2013 11:18 pm

Anyone have any videos they want to post? Anything involving dogs, working or not. Here are some of my girls:

Munster, I really enjoyed your videos. A well-trained dog is such a pleasure. I'll never understand the mentality that a birddog needs to be be just on the verge of catchable to be worth a darn.

It was the first time I had hunted outside of KS. We got some advice and hunted a day or two with friends, but it was pretty much self guided on public access ground.

It was a great trip. We didn't shoot big numbers of birds, and worked hard for them. but I loved it. My young setter Indy really came into his own there.

Where is your new pup out of? He looks like he is very confident with plenty of drive!

I think this is the only video I have...poor quality with a phone. I took it goofing around in my front yard when my Patch dog was 13 weeks old. I even released the wrong bird when he broke...luckily the noise diverted his attention...

You have done a nice job with your dog. And there is nothing wrong with a warning shot every now and then

Lucky Dog.. Awesome that you posted the unloaded gun video! I got a really good laugh.... That has happened to me duck hunting. It happened on two different occasions to buddies of mine this year while quail hunting. Both were on the covey rise. I did it last year on a covey rise (it was my pointers first wild covey find, and I had the gun empty)!

Great videos, bird hunting your part of the country is on my bucket list. I have a buddy here in town that keeps a jetboat on the snake and keeps offering to run me up to some good spots. Just can't swing the trip in good conscience at this point in my life.
