Logo'ing up the truck
Logo'ing up the truck
Put together this logo for the new pup. Cut in white vinyl , I'll put it on tomorrow when we get home with the pup. Nice sometimes to run a graphics dept.
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
That looks good! I wouldn't mind doing a few for my pup's crate.
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
Where did you find the image of the dog?
ETA: Found it!

Re: Logo'ing up the truck
My husband had this made up for me for Christmas last year. He got 2 of them...one for the back of the horse trailer, one for the car.
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
Very nice.. We print to magnets for cars & trucks but after a 5-6 months it will begin to scratch the paint
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
The back of our horse trailer is stainless steel. The 2nd one is hanging on the refrigerator right now Thanks for the warning!!
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
Had this one done and put it on my truck today. Can not say I am 100% happy with it. but I had to pay 85 bucks for it so i thought i may as well put it on. I thought the web address was catchy, like they would want to know what a Munster is since they cant tell by the picture.

Munster where did you have that made? I want to have one made with a britt pointing and a covey of quail flushing with lettering over the top that says i would rather be chasing birds.

Go to a graphic designer FIRST then work with them to get the vinyl cut. If you go to a printer first, you will get what you pay for (or not) ... usually they are NOT designers. If it doesn't LOOK right first, it is not going to look good no matter how you print it - on vinyl, magnet, banner, paper or web. Put your money into a good design that will last years and looks good, or you will be kicking yourself for a long time. http://www.glblair.com/

The GREAT thing about this www "thingy" is that your "area" is not limited to what is near you. I have designed for people all over the country. Some I have never personally met.whatsnext wrote:...i will check around my area and see who i can find.
Re: Logo'ing up the truck
So you do graphic design then? If so you can take the pic in your avatar doc the tail shorten the legs and neck a little and WHAM O we have a britt J/k. But seriously if you do i would be interested.PntrRookie wrote:The GREAT thing about this www "thingy" is that your "area" is not limited to what is near you. I think Munsters are hard to begin with. How do you do them so they do not come out looking like a spaniel or a setter?
I actually have a picture that i wonder if they could do something with. But it cost me the 80 bucks for every attempt them made. I didnt even like it and I was stuck with it. Frustrating.

Re: Logo'ing up the truck
You are correct a head shot oNLY would be hard to separate a SM Setter or Spaniel, but a good designer could take a body profile and help you. Pay for a design from a designer - who knows dogs! - FIRST then you will have what you want and THEN go to the "printer". Designers send the files to the printer. Again, you get what you pay for...sometimes over, and over, and over.Munster wrote:I think Munsters are hard to begin with. Greg does great artwork and websites. Phillips white line kennels logo has the definition only someone with great talent and knowledge of the breed could pull off. I have been looking for a pry bar to crack open my wallet for a website and a logo for my dogs from him.

Re: Logo'ing up the truck
PM sent. Thanks gotpointers, I appreciate the vote of confidence. I LOVE working with bird dogs and design. I produce simple websites and bold logos. There are others I can partner with for more intense sites, but most of my clients like the static sites I can produce. I pay close attention to the updates and details for them as well.Munster wrote:And you are a designer?
