Transport Needed - Louisiana to Missouri

I'm buying a dog from Louisiana and need to get it to Missouri. Can you guys suggest a service or send any other suggestions my way? I've tried a service called "Pro" (Cajun Pet Express) which was recommended by the dog owner, but they won't be making that trip for at least a month and a half. I've looked up a few others as well, but no dice. To keep it positive, if you could post recommendations here or PM me, and only PM me with that list of "people to stay away from", I would really appreciate it.

Where in Louisiana is it coming from and where is it's final destination?

He is a small beagle and coming from Vacherie to somewhere in Missouri - final destination can be worked out as I can travel to get him wherever in the state he ends up. I live near Columbia but travel quite a bit for work.
