Birds??

Post by MI-Man » Fri Mar 22, 2013 8:54 am

Wondering if anyone can help - I am looking for quail and/or pigeons for my GSP (12 month old). I live in the Grand Rapids (Michigan) area, willing to drive up to 100/125 miles to pick them up. Thanks in advance. MI-MAN

Get them mail order off the internet it may be the same as driving that far to get them. I use B&D game farme but there are a lot of others.

FYI, it's easier to find them if you just say you want pigeons...

Try mynaga.org. https://www.mynaga.org/find-game-birds/ ... ion=Search

I found 8 within 100 miles of you, and that is only what is listed on that site.

I don't know of a single pigeon racer that isn't looking for someone to buy the extra birds they have every year. I' am one of two in our club that uses birds for dog training. I have sold well over a hundred every year and a good friend of mine ended up butchering 150 that he couldn't get rid of. I even raised a few extras for an individual last year and am still waiting to get paid for them. Probably won't do that again.
