For a bird introduction to my pup, I want to start with a couple of pigeons in a wire bird carrier and put it on the ground for him to walk around and look at. Anyone have any idea about SW pigeon carriers? I was thinking about picking up the 24 x 12 carrier (fits 8 or more pigeons) from GDS, but not sure how sturdy it is. Thinking my lab might be jumping on it depending up on how bold he gets with it. Any input would be great.
** Also, if anyopne knows, how many birds can you fit in the 12 x 12 carrier? I am guessing you can fit around 4 or 5. Might pick that up as I am not looking to work with a lot of pigeons at one time.
Thanks -- Justin

Re: Pigeon Carrier
Build one yourself. I have 15 bucks into mine. Get some wood strips and wire mesh from TSC
I also put a one way trap door in the end so it can double as a trap.

Ironically I built mine 24x12 also. I plan on using it this weekend to hopefully trap some pigeons too.
