She is a good looking pup. How old is she. You should put the wing up now. Use a good training program put your dog on lots of birds and i'm sure you will be successful. Happy hunting.

I am using Willow Creeks program, I had looked at a video on this sight with guy and young pups "scenting the wing". I was doing the same thing just letting her smell around and when she came near she pointed. We have been working on "Whoa" for a couple of weeks, when she pointed and started easing in, I said Whoa and she stopped. I put the wing up right after this.

Very nice! When you get ready to put her on some birds get up with me. I noticed your location, I've got a friend in Spanish fort that has a really nice male GSP.
