Trainer/Handler

Post by Johng918 » Sat Jun 15, 2013 6:38 am

I've had bird dogs for sometime now but just sent my first one to a trainer/handler in Ohio,She is a huge running dog and wanted to give her a shot at HB field trials, I'm very comfortable with her handler (great guy) but still feels like I just sent off one of my kids! It's amazing the bond you have with these animals that are suposivly hunting dogs.

Look at it more like your kid is going off to the military. May be hard to be away, but will make them better for it. ;)

Good luck with your dog, I hope you guys win a ton.
