Took some time off from the woods and wild birds and went training on planted quail yesterday.
Re: Post dogs on Point!!!!
One more from yesterday. My setter and my father's Brittany on a split find with another Brittany backing.
Re: Post dogs on Point!!!!
Bucks first point! He may have pointed some at his first home. He is a 3month old pup who we brought home on Friday. We introduced the tail feathers(from last year) and this is what happened! He is our first family dog and first hunting dog. My wife and I are super excited to watch him grow and learn!

Re: Post dogs on Point!!!!
Went of a cover dog trial this weekend. After taking runner-up I took my setter (and lab) hunting and took home a grouse to go with the placement. Two points on grouse from the hunt.

This is the best I have.... it's in the first few days when I got her. A couple days later she had a litter.
I'm still recovering, as is my lawn furniture and everything plastic in my yard. There were about 8 quail in the bushes in my front yard.

Re: Post dogs on Point!!!!
You guy's want a super photo of a Britt, this is it! I downloaded the small res and maybe an 8x10 of it, great. Then I tried a bunch of different crop's and that would make a great 13x19. Tried a few panoramic crops and lost the sky on the back. I'm going to mat and frame this 8x10!
