lost the other chick

I lost 1 chick at about 16 days old and now the other 25 day old chick I found dead this morning. The parents of these chick just laid 2 more eggs on the 4th and 5th. the chick had flown out of the nest and I put it back in and it came right back out so I left it out. We have had a lot of rain where I am and the floor was a little damp could this have anything to do with it?

Cant help you, But I am bummed for you. I like my birds and it would bum me out that I lost the babies. I am bummed now because we have passed the hatch date and no hatch. Not sure how long to wait before I call it a loss.
