Pedigree percentages
Pedigree percentages
I have noticed on here that some of u know what percentages of a particular bloodline are present in a dog, and want to know how to find this out. My pedigree does not list these percentages, is this an add on when ordering one? Just curious.

Re: Pedigree percentages
Knine has a program that will give you that information but I think her data base is probably just Brittanys.
Re: Pedigree percentages
Just a stab at an answer. I believe you need a database of at least 10 generations of pedigree plus a special program that generates these numbers. Also if you have further generational depth information it leads to a more significantly reliable number.

Yup, Man's Best Friend software does the trick but unless you have an extensive data base on your breed entered into it, it can't help you. You need to find someone in your breed who has spent the hours and hours entering the information to pull the info that you need.Ken Lynch wrote:Just a stab at an answer.
