Loki, the English Springer Spaniel

My puppy is finally home and we are having a blast together. He seems to be picking up on things quickly and is a smart little guy. We named him Loki. With some great help from SpringerDude I have connected with a local group of springer field trialers and bird hunters who have invited me to train with them. Which is huge for me since this is my first go at training a gundog. Hopefully Loki can live up to his father who is a pretty accomplished dog. Here's a couple photos. It's easier to get pictures of him while he sleeps since he is always moving when he is awake.

Thanks. I'm really liking it out here (I'm a transplant from the Twin Cities). I should have some good opportunities to get the pup on some pheasant, grouse, and duck without having to travel too far.

Thanks. He is definitely a looker. He has a lot of liver coloring but with a good mixture of white in there.
