Flushers vs pointers vs retrievers

What's the best breed for dove hunting and why? Would you go with a lab or maybe a pointer or flusher that will retrieve ?

Its basically nonslip retrieving so I would say a lab would probably excel in the dove field. That said spaniels are natural retrievers as well and lots of folks have pointers that retrieve to a high level of excellence in well. The best dog is the one you have :)

One that can feed you ammo, and pick up the birds when the shooting stops.
Sorry, I have Uruguay on my mind. :D

Whichever dog handles the heat and situations the best. I've had a lab, britt and now a WPG, all were great at marking and retrieving, my britt handled the heat the best.

I noticed you're in Texas. I'm no expert, but I watched a lab about run himself dead outside of Uvalde on opening weekend. In the dog's defense the owner didn't handle the situation well and couldn't get the dog to quit chasing.
