My new toy.

Post by jcbuttry8 » Wed Oct 02, 2013 8:47 am

So now that the dust storm of the divorce has settled down and life is back to as normal as can be it is time to go back to playing with dogs and jumping back on here. Bama is due to return from SD on the 13th and she should be ready for broke stakes and retrieving. Thoroughly impressed with where she's at for 13 mos. Middlecreek has definitely got some great stock. She has just been a pleasure to watch. I give Bruce Shaffer much credit. The work he has done with Bama this summer has been just shy fantastic. I'll run another post with bama's videos.

So, I was able to pick up Isis, below, from Mr. Morelli. She has great style and holds a bird. She just has no run in her. She works great for that little girl of mine that is so dead set on trialing. Ran her last week in a Walking stake and we will be running an open and walking this weekend. Hoping to pass the reigns over to Emily in a few weeks. Watch out trialers, my little 12 year old is coming for ya.

I think most us that have gone through it feel that way. But one good thing about a "starter marriage" is we find out what we don't want for the rest of lives.

I've been fortunate /blessed to be married 40 years to a great guy - only ticks me off once a week.:) That doesn't mean I don't believe divorce is sometimes necessary.

That's fine looking dog , jc.
