I've been thinking about this for a few minutes. I'm proud of my service to my country USMC 1990-1994, but I know form past experience that this time of year is hard to be away from family and loved ones. So yes thank a veteran but also thank those service men and women serving now to keep this country Free as we all know freedom is not free

I went to the service at the cenotaphto day. Dad was overseas 6 years , and came back a shadow of himself. I'll never forget his sacrifice.

Dec.1939/ Picton /ON Armory- one of many farm boys who signed up.

Yes, Thank you to all those who served this great country but we shouldn't need to have a day to remind us that we should thank those who serve. There is no greater feeling than a random act of buying a young man or woman in their fatigues a lunch or walking up to one in uniform and thanking them for their dedication. If you've never tried it you should, it will make both you and their day
This country wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for these young men and women
Thanks to all who have served !
