Give me a recipe for braunscheiger I love the stuff. Used to gt real home made years ago.Deli stuff isnt even close.

We used 1/3 venison liver and 2/3 pork liver.
Mixed with an equal amount of ground pork.

When I was a kid, my stepdad would take us out on party boats in Long Island Sound fishing. Every time he'd make liverwurst sandwich's to eat. D*mn they were awful. Then When I was in Germany, I found a place that made liverwurst sandwiches. Tried one just to see if they were as bad as I remembered. Boy, that was good! The bread was part of it. The bread we bough on the economy only lasted a couple days but it was super! Got a loaf one time and on the way home, my wife ate the crust off the whole thing.

When I was a kid, my stepdad would take us out on party boats in Long Island Sound fishing.

I think that was a staple for LI sound fishing, my parents did the same thing. Which side of the sound? I grew up in southwestern CT and I could ride my bike to places within 4 miles of my house and catch everything from bluegills to sharks. Best fishing I've had in my life. Of course that was 45 years ago.
