Perfect Start Clinic this weekend - pictures

Had a great two days at a Perfection Kennel Clinic. Wanted Pike to get a jump on gun intro the right way but Jon wanted me to wait until he was 4 months - so I got to take him this Friday and Saturday before we head out for a big week trip to KS today.

Pike did great - was super excited about the gun and we were able through many repetitions Friday and Saturday, to get him to the shotgun Saturday just before dark. Had one very gunshy GSP, another younger GSP, and 3 Vizslas plus my Pointer. It was a great experience - lots of good discussions had by all. He's staying for two more days to complete the clinic while we're hunting in KS. By the time he gets home we'll be able to take him hunting - I'm pretty excited about this!

Pointer whose owner has passed away - looking for a good home. Contact Jon Hann at Perfection Kennel if you can offer an inside/family home for this wild bird experienced dog. Dog is steady to wing and retrieves. Her name is Tess.

Can't see a lot but from what I can, those are some nice training grounds.

I wish Jon would come down here for a clinic though.

Jon is amazing. What he does with those dogs in such a short time is really incredible. It's like magic!
