looking to transport a puppy

Post by gundogjunkie » Wed Dec 11, 2013 12:06 pm

I have a 3 month old pointer pup that I need delivered to Rhode Island after Jan 8. I live in NE Ohio. Anyone have any ideas on how to do it without having to put it on an airplane? Suggestions please. I would rather work something out with someone traveling that way.

You could find out if anyone is going to a trial out that way. or you can the new owner to meet half way. Maybe check out Uship.com?

I've used Buckeye Dog Haulers to get a couple of pups to their new homes.

I have shipped a few puppies with Gun Dog Express (http://www.adventureboundgundogs.com/delivery.html) and been happy with the service.

I have also tried to use uShip in the past. I could find folks to transport the dog, but it was WAY more expensive than Gun Dog Express or the other dog-specific transporters.
