I'm looking for a good overall watch for everything: camping/hiking/hunting/fishing/and decent enough looking to wear with a suit. Preferably under $150

Casio G-Shock, one of the solar atomic models. They never need a battery and never need you to set the time.

Those hard to beat...

OP may also want to look at some of the Wenger/Swiss Army watches, some are field/dress watches that do fine under buttoned cuffs.

I've really liked my Invicta watch, its really sturdy and holds up well in everything that I've put it through this year, and still looks good enough that I wear it with my suit too. The only issue I've wished it had is that it doesn't have an illumination light, but other than that, its been great.

I like the Seiko chronos with compass and leather or rubber bands. About $250.00. I do not like the metal bracelet type bands.

In this day of cell phones, a watch needs to do more than tell time.

The stop watch function is important for trials. But they even have them with mini-weather stations.

I have had chronographs since 1967.

BTW today's prices are great values. My first watch was just under a thousand $, about a 1/3 of the cost of a SS 396 Chevy I bought the same year, I still have the watch.

+1 have had the same one for 7 years. Beat the heck out of it and had to replace a band but it still works like a charm
