Tri tronics question

If I buy a multiple dog system can I use the orignal pro 100 with the new transmitter for example If I get a classic 70 exp g3 or pro 100 exp g2 can I pair it with my original pro 100 receiver or do I have to buy the pro 100 g2 extra reciever

as long as you have the g2 or g3 they will be compatible
