Does this device work? Is there something similar or better?

Re: Bark control device
Is this for your own dog or a neighbors dog that you cant put a collar on? I've heard these only sometimes work on neighbor dogs and if it is your own then a no bark collar is a much better option. Every dog if it is barking or not will hear the sound. Not good for an area with a bunch of dogs.

This is for my own dogs. I currently have six in my kennel. My experience with bark collars is that the dog learns to shut up when the collar is on, and resumes barking as soon as it is removed.
I understand that with this device all of the dogs will be punished not just the barker, but I'm hoping for a little pear pressure on the offender .

Re: Bark control device
I've seen the collars work but haven't heard of anyone having long term success with these types of devices. Might be worth a try though because I don't think the ones I have heard from gave it a long time or could set it close enough to the problem.
I'm just a little leery of using loud high pitched sounds to fight barking. I'm almost certain that right away some of the non barkers will bark back at the noise.
